Oddmac apps run 100% on your Mac. We do not track you, sell your data, record your audio, or require user accounts.
1. Our Core Privacy Philosophy
Oddmac believes useful software should respect your privacy. Our macOS applications are built to run entirely on your local machine. We do not operate advertising trackers, do not sell personal information, and do not monitor your personal computing activities.
2. Audio Processing & System Permissions
Utilities such as Volume Mixer request the standard macOS "System Audio Recording" permission solely to tap into running application audio streams via Apple's Core Audio APIs.
We never record, save, store, or transmit your audio. Audio signals are adjusted in volatile memory in real time directly on your device and are never sent over any network.
3. Telemetry & Analytics
Our website does not use invasive third-party cross-site trackers or ad pixels. Our desktop apps do not contain background analytics trackers unless you explicitly opt in to anonymous crash reporting to help us fix bugs.
4. Purchases & Licensing
When you purchase a license for an Oddmac app, transaction processing is handled by our authorized payment partner. We receive only the necessary information to validate your license key (such as your email address and purchase receipt). We never see or store your credit card details.
